A Divine Image

When I was in class 8th, my English teacher gave me a book called Poems by William Blake.He said you can have it, I guess you’ll like it. I still don’t know what was he thinking while he said that to me but that was the day when i got hooked to poems.Blake writes everything in the simplest way but with extreme strength behind it.
A Divine Image

Cruelty has a human heart,
And Jealousy a human face;
Terror the human form divine,
And Secresy the human dress.

The human dress is forged iron,
The human form a fiery forge,
The human face a furnace sealed,
The human heart its hungry gorge.
